The white figures in the distance are not the ghosts of the old Manor. They're a phenomenon even more mysterious -- players engaged in cricket, a game with rules that Peter describes as "notoriously incomprehensible." And he's British. Peter assures us that the spectator is his wife, Heather, and that he's not in the habit of assaulting strange women with Logozoa.
